:: What It Takes. The first phase of making a project dimensional is a vector file. We can either create original artwork custom designed for you, or we can work from your electronic file. Files such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, CAD, EPS, DXF, and DWG files are acceptable. The 2-D vector file is brought into our ArtCam Pro 3-D software and the transformation begins.

:: Digital Transformation. Next we work our magic with ArtCam Pro, making adjustments to the vector file and accounting for your project's specifications. This phase will help you visualize what your project will look like in 3-D.

:: The Cutting. We prepare our state of the art CNC router to receive the 3D digital file. Then the cutting begins in the material of your choice - from corian, to acrylic, to HDU foam…and much, much more.
This is a photo shows the shell cut from HDU foam

:: The Details. We then hand cut, hand sand, and trim the details. We can finish your artwork with airbrushed enamels to match specified colors or finish it in various metals, including patinas or specialty finishes. Take a look at the shell in its finished state. The Beach Comber sign is corian, cut on our router, with gold leafing. The shell is bronze coated HDU foam with a patina finish.
